Well, you aren’t a true bride-to-be if you never dreamt of having a fairytale wedding in Disneyland. And, while there are people who just dream of having one, there’s one Indian couple who actually lived their dream of getting married in the magical Disneyland, Paris.

Anisha Seth and Varun Bhanot, 29 were friends for more than 10 years and dated each other for 5 years before finally tying the knot for a lifetime. Their wedding pictures are proof that there has been no celebration like theirs before and that dream weddings do come true!

Merging Bollywood Tadka and magical Disney elements, the couple celebrated their togetherness for 2 days at Disneyland, Paris on 6th and 7th September respectively. The couple got married twice both according to Hindu and Sikh wedding rituals. Their Anand Karaj ceremony took place at Brent Sikh Centre where the bride Anisha wore a red bridal lehenga by Sahil Fashion Bazar. While she looked every bit of a traditional Indian bride, groom Varun perfectly complemented her in a dapper Sikh groom avatar!

Later, the couple had a gorgeous Hindu wedding in Disneyland, Paris where all the Disney characters came alive together to create magic at their wedding. The couple exchanged vows in a midnight ceremony outside the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle followed by another Hindu ceremony by the theme park’s lake. The iconic Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Goofy danced on the tunes of bhangra along with them making it a feast to remember!

The groom Varun looked all dapper in peach sherwani by Gujral Sons. Apart from the gorgeous sherwani, we loved his groom accessories as well. Isn’t he goals?

The couple invited a total of 350 guests to their Bollywood inspired Disney wedding and planned a surreal seating arrangement inspired by Aladdin, where Middle Eastern and Indian food were served.

The London-based couple spent almost a year planning their grand wedding.“Paris is the city of love — that all played into the idea,” Bhanot said. “We have been Disney fans for years, and we have organized big events together. We thought we would put our heads together and do something a bit different.”

The wedding is estimated to have cost tens of thousands of dollars but the couple managed to get Disneyland Paris to chip in for part of the festivities.

And if you thought their wedding was an extraordinary event, their proposal was even more breath-taking. Varun proposed Anisha last year after whisking her away on a helicopter ride – and popped the question with a crop circle in a field of wheat! Couple goals?? Well, hell yeah!
